DISCOVERIES AND INVENTIONS
A discovery is recognizing something that already exists for the first time, that nobody has found before. An invention is creating something totally new with one's own ideas and development.

DISCOVERIES
Penicillin
Sir Alexander Fleming discovered the first antibiotic substance, Penicillin in 1928.
DNA
James Watson and Francis Crick discovered the double helix structure of DNA in 1953.
THE GRAVITY
Isaac Newton discoveries gravitational theory in 1665 or 1666 after watching an apple fall and asking why the apple fell straight down, rather than sideways or even upward
INVENTIONS
AIRPLANE
In 1903 Orville and Wilbur Wright inventions airplane.
AUTOMOBILE
In 1885 Karl Benz increased personal mobility by inventing automobiles.
TELEPHONE
in 1876 Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone spreading communication over wide areas
